It's mercy, compassion and forgiveness I lack; not rationality.

I personaly feel that this auction is going to be so deluged with buyers (including dealers) that most gear will go for more than what we can get it elsewhere. My local dealer Greg who has bought a heap of stuff with Bob for years said he isn't going as that too many dealers will be bidding.

And many of the class items have already "gone."

That being said, Bob was and Dawn still is are friend.

What a strange world we live in when we are trying to keep people from dozens of points of view all happy at once. And not keeping any of them really happy.

I need to watch "Big Brother" for a dose of reality.

The cats out of the bag eh,as buyers most of us wanted the auction kept a little quieter to try and keep bidders numbers down,i have heard the word that there are fellas driving from bloody Qld even,i wont bother going now i reckon the prices will be too high or at least no too realistic.
I suppose that you will attend Ross?

Not totally sure yet. Probably not. so many people are going from around here that the prices could go way high.

But it would be nice to see that collection one last time. Wink

Apparently Rotary have set up the marques etc (Bob was a keen Rotarian) and are involved in the organization. Incredible amount of interest being expressed from all over the place.

Expecting a minimum of 1500 genuine buyers (according to someone who should know.)

I won't be one of them.

Foxes need attending to.
