BakesThe Baker 4X4 saga......
Well its been a long time in comming but I'm finally getting a 4X4. We've gone for a new Navara DX turbo diesel + some extras. Contracts signed and waiting delivery.
Also got a mincer. A Porkert (size 10) for $84 odd delivered (ex SA) with sausage attachments

. Now all I've got to do is mince about 50kg of buff meat still in my freezer

For those interested the mincer is from

Aspen Hill AdventuresBakesly,
What color are you getting? Diesel is almost $2.40 a gallon here. Fuel prices are at an all time high here and probably higher there. What kind of "mileage" does your new wheels get?
I had a date with a nice gentleman today. He picked me up in his brand new Chevy S10. Even took it to the wash before fetching me. My ride is four years old now and I am shocked at the "toys" the new trucks come with now. Put my old 95 Dodge Ram to shame ('cept it had an engine no one could beat).

Its silver (platinum). Diesel here has gone up to $1.23 a litre

But I'm salary sacrificing the vehicle and the fuel is included in the lease -GST (Goods and services Tax)

is that the funnel on the mincer??
if it is , you attach the funnel to the front of the machine ,put your sausage casing over the spout ,tie a knot in the end of the casing and start turning the handle to fill the casing, on the other hand if it's a bigger funnel it's probably for the spare diesel

lobogaThat 4X4 would be OK, if it wasn't a NISSAN. I've driven to and through Katherine lots of times, I always enjoyed it more when I was in a Toyota!

If you are mincing buff meat, you may want to hook that mincer up to the pto on the 4X4! I'll be in Katherine, next month, at least that is the plan.

BakesWhat brings you down this way?
Easy
For the price of my lease I nominate the K's I'll do a year and I get a fuel card to book the fuel up on. I also get services, tyres, rego, insurance in the lease. I pay for it up front then claim the cost back off the lease company. Now to the funnel. You unscrew the face plate, take out the blades and put in the funnel and screw the face plate on.
