Ebony fore end
Does anyone know where i can get some Ebony in Australia for a fore end for my Cz 550 500 A2 ? i dont know how hard it would be to import it ? Filipine kamagong wood iam told is unique and one of the hardest ! it would be nice to get some African Gabbon Ebony ,thanks for many answers or help

You can try Geoff Slee he might know,see his add in the Australian Deer mag.Have you thought about using Buffalo horn I have that on all my custom rilfes and the grain makes them look outstanding?

Try a wood supplier or joinery/cabinete makers they some times use exotic timbers or woodturning hobby places also have small pieces for sale at times.Or cheapest I have seen was to get someone visiting Africa to bring back an ebony souviner, a lot cheaper than buying the stuff here.
