not a balck bear and not the largest. A brown bear that ranks #150. Nice bear though

I have seen full body-mounts of Grizzly and Brown bears and I can assure you they are big muthers. I dont know if I would get that close to a live one , and I dont consider myself to be a chicken at all...

I believe this one is a Grizzly - they cant retract their claws and the photo shows claws out .Interesting .

I didnt think any bear could retract its claws.
