History lesson?
OK, I watched one of my favorite fairy tales again last night, "Quigley Down Under." Now when you guys stop laughing can one of you tell me if the friction between the Aussies and "Major Ashley Bloody Pitt" and his British soldiers has any basis in fact?

Well, I'm glad I at least raised a smile at your house, Butch. Sometimes, despite their best efforts, Hollyweird script writers let a little factual material creep in, and I am wondering if such might be the case in the "Q." And don't forget, the Matthew Quigley shoot is held every Father's Day in Forsyth, Montana. So we know at least that Quigley was a real person, right?

Bill. I have no clue about whether the friction you spoke of was based on fact or not.
Yet, it still is fun to watch the movie despite the Main (purely fictional) character calling a falling block a lever action (a big blunder).
