my brothers 50's vintage brno model 2 stock, 50 odd years of being soaked in wd40 was doing it no favours, it had a run thru the dish washer to see if it was salvageable if not it was going to be painted in 2 pac next dry.


i have shortened the LOP and thinned the grip to suit little hands, its reincarnation is to be a range princess for the kids. I think its up to its 12th coat of tru oil, starting to look quite good I think.

wiz is the mastermind behind this little Frankenstein, a 700 action in a slee stock with a 22.250ai barrel to be a light weight shooter, again i have shortened the LOP and rough cut the pachmeyer pad tonite for recoil and balance, its in the freezer now I will finish it tomorrow I suppose.
the grip as it was cut, was really funny in the hand, it twisted the wrist up but the finger grip was forward and down, not very comfortable at all. I reshaped the grip so the wrist sits square to the forearm and the fingers are forward and closer to the trigger. I used my wife as the tester as my big mitts aren’t the best to test the feel for someone with more petite hands. She had me shape the palm swell so it should be much more comfortable now.
