Few photos from my weekend
A mate went for a head shot on a goat and the bullet ricocheted off and hit another goat in the shoulder standing 3 yards behind,bullet was 139interlock 7mm08 i have it on video,quite odd thing to happen.

James ... once again, you hunt in lovely country !!! Generally speaking, what kind of yardage does one have to shoot at goats ??? I've never hunted the varmints and it looks like great fun !! thumb

Muzza its down Wairoa way. Most shots are between 5 yards and out to 300+,we try and get in close under 100 yards as we are culling them and the plan is to shoot the whole mob as any that get away will be gun shy next time. Mates are going down in a few weeks to hunt pigs on the dead goats.
