Another solo hunt looking around for anything interesting up the local valleys and some lovely weather before winter. I decided to measure this buck on the ground. Thats a 10 inch buck and a 10.5 inch buck for April.

Interesting and amusing, though the wide-angle lens made me feel like I'd just drunk all the OP-rum. The instant "getting down to the skinning" compared with the interminable serving up of the meal was a hoot.

I'm half dizzy from that lens, wow! Glad my eyesight don't work the same way as watching this happen!
Enjoyed the scenery and quick skinning job.

It's a wonder you could hit anything with that rubber barrel, first one way then the other bend in it. I thought that part was worth a laugh.
