The kiwi's may have their alps but you can't beat a good old Aussie Sunset. This effect from bushfire smoke haze

I've had enough of looking at your aussie smog problems, show me some pictures with dead animals in them!!!!
That mountain isn't a bad one Muzza. I climbed to the summit 52 times, slept up there a few times, and looked down onto your dairy farm. (Ted's Alley was not a bad ice climbing route.)Put about 175 people on the summit in one day during one of your open climbs. (Still a record I think.) Also picked up a few unfortunate dead souls, from areas I can identify in your photo, while involved with Taranaki Alpine Cliff Rescue in that area.
Even won the notorious title of "Mr X" about 4 years ago, for putting up a Wind Wand on the summit. Stirred up a few local Maoris and me and "Mr Y" had to duck for cover.

So , all is revealed about the mysterious Mr X and Mr Y. What a load of crap about nothing that was .

I will have to make some discrete enquiries about other escapades of yours....

Glad you like our little hill , we kinda enjoy seeing it on the odd occasion when it isnt raining , even had fresh snow yesterday as well .

BTW glad you called it by it's rightful name.
Can't stand all the P C naming stuff, gets everyone confused.

Mate , dont get me going on political correctness! Just retired after six years on our local Community Board where you have to play politically correct games - well , everyone else did , I flatley refused to attend the Cultural Awareness Seminars and had the habit of saying f*ck and b*gger at the boardroom table , which didnt go down too well with the heirachy.

The mountain is called Egmont , and always will be .

At least I didnt desecrate spiritual ground in the middle of the night ....
