GreybeardBushman"Marma Lake Firearms" in Murtoa
After all of these months, after all of the paperwork, I have finally got my dealers licence.
And after all the hassles about wondering about importers and getting the ir accounts, some of those issues have worked out.
Marma Lake Firearms with Ross Barlow (me) being the principal person involved looks good.
No net site yet but one is coming.
post here if you have any questions about buying certain guns

GreybeardBushmanShaun, I always thought you were dwain?

all the WSSM seem really cheap at present. Browning a-bolts for about $600 but i haven't worked out a firm price.
I built a big gun vault at home then have started working with another bloke who has a shop front for a number of reasons (most pretty obvious).
But its an evolutionary thing. I'm obviously keeping my teaching job and selling to locals. And how my "partnership' (nothing on paper) evolves with the other well established shop front dealer will be interesting. It is in both our interests to work to-gether at present.

BushchookCongrats Rosco . Doing the same myself with a bit of luck .
The hunting imperative was part of every man's soul; some denied or suppressed it, others diverted it into less blatantly violent avenues of expression, wielding clubs on the golf course or racquets on the court, substituting a little white ball for the prey of flesh and blood.

GreybeardBushmanI have got a partnership going with a gun dealer who lives within 30 k's and we have worked out (roughly) the profit margins for both of us. so I have a "shop front" now, I guess.
And in most cases, we can get a deal cheaper than most of the Firearms dealers who advertise in our mags.
Most of the rifles advertised in the mags, I know I can do better than. also, because he can see I am going to get sales from a segment of the local population he hasn't access to, It is only going to get better.
As well, a couple of the big importers look like they are going to give me indendant accounts anyway.
So, if any of you gun nuts in Aus would like to, ask me for a quote before you buy elsewhere.
The paperwprk with the LSD is surmountable.
Again, if you are looking at buying a new firearm here, PM me and see what I can do.
