450 FullerAHN-the 9.3X62 Mauser
The Australian Hunting Net has a long running thread on the 9.3X62 cartridge in a Tikka rifle.
My 9.3X 62 is a custom Mauser 98 and I use only
Remington brass along with Nosler, Hornady. and Speer bullets-
no Swift bullets yet. Quality components loaded with care make for reliable cartridges.

Tikka in 9.3 with Aimpoint is great setup for Sambar, I’d buy one if didn’t have 375

BakesI have a Tikka in 9.3, bloody love it. I'll be selling off some rifles to fund another Tikka in 6.5x55 soonish.

BakesI love my swede Gryph. I want to sell off my old heavy bugger and get a Tikka lite.

sambarman338I find the best brass for my Zastava 9.3x62 is Norma. It has a wider head diameter than than US brass seems to have, more nearly filling the chamber space. Winchester cases are six thou smaller and bulge big time at the web.

450 FullerI am getting some Norma and Lapua brass-enroute.
The PPU and R-P appear to be OK so far.
My Husqvarna Mauser is accurate with Nosler 286 gr
and also with the bonded Oryx 232s. CFE 223 is the
working powder for the 9.3x62. A nice trouble-free Leupold older fixed 4x scope insures accuracy on bears. AK grizzly tacos are excellent...
I do miss the RN nurses at Williamtown, bloody lovely...NSW.
