Got no respect for heli hunting or hunters that utilise it to attain a trophy. No problem with the use of choppers for access to the back country. The use of helicopters for culling and managing tahr efficiently is a different scenario.

I hunted with Al Kircher 2 years ago. His view doesn't surprise me. I agree with him.

One of the more memorable portions of the trip was a helicopter sightseeing tour. No guns. Just cameras. I can see how a helicopter flight for sightseeing can also cause problems for the people on the ground. I remember thinking this as we flew through the mountains. I wonder how many disrupted have been caused by sightseeing helicopter tours?

Magnificent country. It is a real privilege to have been able to see it.
