Just got back..with pictures

My young son and I competed in the Toogoom fishing comp. Lots of fresh water flushing out the rivers but we managed to weight in some Gar. Only other fish caught were some undersize flathead and bream and the boy hooked a bloody great stingray that gave him a HUGE fight

(His arms were buggered at the end)We were unlucky in the raffles and number draws but we had a great time together and we'll be going back next year. One bonus was some big prawns caught in the cast net
