I like it.
Good pic of you, Bakes.
Matt looks good too.
You blokes must have shot a LOT of pigs now. You should publish a book.

Must be doing ok if I can make Bakes look good.
That's the article about his 'old and worn'.
We had some good laughs and that's what it's all about on that trip.
Don't tell Matt he looks good

Gary.
That was the funniest trip I've ever done. To see Gary trying to paddle in a straight line was great. Matt and I only went about 1 km upstream. Gary and Jimmy landed at the same spot as us but paddled about 5 km

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"
Where? No up s... creek again?

I think Bakes is telling stories it was only about 4 km. It was a great trip though.
Gary.

GreybeardBushmanBloody funny.
One man's mile is another bloke's ten.
One bloke can get 4200 fps out of a 22-250 with a 55 gn load; another only 3,500 fps. but they both do the work.
I have wondered Bakes, over the posts, how often you have been in the front line in the course of duty. i mean this totally positively. I actually thought initially when I logged on to AR that you were a cop and that you, Gary, were in the forces.
Also, its like I know you and Gary are obvious real hunters. Curious is all.
I wouldn't like to be on the wrong end of any of your rifles. Any of you.

GBB,
I'm a RAAF Security Police Military Working Dog Handler (phew

) I met Gary in Tindal, he was the SGT in the counter intel side of the security police. Only one deployment for me. I went to East Timor in 99.

Bakes's honed hunting skills are legendary.
Just ask him.

I taught him everything I know.

Gary.

Second try, what magazine are we talking about?
I hope it is better than the June Sporting Shooter, which was atrocious for readable articles.

Too many like that and I won't be buying it again.

GreybeardBushmanWild Boar Australia Issue 9. Page 76. Gary has an article "Up the creek" there. Mag only just got to our newsagents.

Another hunt with the indominatable Gary Hall yesterday... A most enjoyable day

I get to chase the tiddler hog for miles and utterly destroy it with the 444 where he gets the 100kg plus boar sound asleep under a tree and zaps it cleanly from 30 yards with the piddling little 44 mag.
I ask you... wheres the justice in that?

21 May 2006, 10:28
<gary_hall>Wiz.
Whats indominatable? Must be a word you learnt of Bakes.
Got another two with the dogs in the evening.
I emailed some photos today.
Gary.

<gary_hall>Bakes.
When are you heading down? Wiz's 444 makes a mess. It would be good on big pigs, but he only shoots little one

Heaps of sign about, saw four this morning, but on the run.
Gary.
