wazza56On the horse again
Some may recall in April last year when I had a slight mishap with a slippery bluff in the George River Fiordland, which resulted in severe damage to my right leg which resulted in paralasis to my lower leg and foot.
So going back was going to be interesting, a freind was coming from Denmark again so he had a trip to South Westland before we got there to head south.
First stop was Tekapo country for a Tahr hunt which proved successful for both my son jared and lars. Jared was with me last year and instigated the rescue after the fall so it was to be interesting how he coped in the high country.

Cold
It was a good trip, I was pretty much limited to camp in the steep country but did mange a climb up a gentle slope in Tahr country, we'll see how it goes next year
