I have been offered one of the above for AUS$275.
Is this a fair price?

Not to bad but you can get them for $329 new some places I would say if it's in excellent nick then you would want to pay$239 second hand, if it's new thatsa great price and I have to ask where can they be had

For a vxII that is an ok price. You can get a new vxI 2-7 for $315 or there abouts.
