Radicals in the media and greenie organisations absolutely hate the native duck hunting seasons.

Every year they make noises to have them banned.

Every year we see POLLS on the internet to see if duck hunting should be banned.

Almost every poll is defeated in favour of continuing the season. Usually it is quickly hidden away as the results rarely go the way they want it too. Until they ty again next time, and time after that, and the time after that.

Time to take the fight TO some of these organisations.

For your info - most hunting of native species is not permitted in Australia, or heavily controlled. Most introduced or feral species can be shot at will without bag limits, seasons etc.

Ducks and quail are two native species which are an exception once in every state, now only in a few.

On the other hand (just shows how dumb these pricks really are!) the picture of the duck on the RSPCA website, over the heading 'help ban duck shooting' is a Mallard. Which in OZ is a pest species due to it's ability to hybridize with the Pacific Black duck.
The idiots are using a species which, in Vic at least, is a threat to the native birds and we are free to shoot on sight.
