Kiwi friend is buying a deer rifle
A friend of mine in Dorkland is buying his first deer rifle and keeps asking me for opinions, etc.

Can you guys recomend an internet site there in NZ that he could talk with people there about this kind of stuff?

Tell him to go to www.accuratereloading.com/ They have a forum set up for Australians and Kiwis. They also have a lot of information on deer rifles.

Tell him to just ignore a few morons and stay away from the Political Forum. Smiler

Gidday Guys,

You talk about wankers like we are something bad. Anyone who doesn't is either a liar or don't know what they are missing!

He at least they are doing it with someone they like.

Yip you are right Bakes, but most shooters here don't like to spent more $10 on a box of ammo and are cowards about recoil.

TP That's why God invented Reloading and the Saying "Harden the **** up!"

7mm-08 is a pussies calibre, sure its typically accurate, easy to shoot and well suited to most game in Aussie an NZ but its about as entertaining as an episode of Neighbors. If you must have that, grow some nuts and get a 7x57.

It pisses me off as much as the current trend here of installing Suppressors on Centre Fires. Again, for pussies, they look grotesque as well. That's like buying the biggest baddest sub-woofer and playing Enya through it!

Yes i am not a fan of suppressors either, but that said anything that helps people shooting better has got to be a good thing.

Best line yet. Have to agree, suppressors ruin a perfectly good rifle, and are not worth it unless you are a professional fireing hundreds of shots per week. Its the big con at the moment.
