Hell yes - with a shaved head you have your own solar panel , and wind shouldnt be too much of a problem for you either.....

Yeah, get Windy Ass Wallace to move back in and set up a wind generator.
Maybe get some Remote Area Assistance from the local power provider, get on the dole and it's easy street.

Still looking for a plot to set down my roots and I came across this vacant 90acs today. A beautiful bit of virgin country; pity it would cost $30,000 to get power/phone to it.

Can you do yourself a deal on the power?

Where's the virgin ?

Nice looking country but.

Don't worry about a phone, buy a mobile. Don't worry about power, go native.

Nitro,
You'd like it here mate, there is all them viney things that grow in trellises. Flaming acres and acres of them, about 11 different wineries in the district. I sampled some and their as good as any I've had before.

I tried house hunting once, found a few things I didn't like about it however.
1) There's no challange in sneaking up on one (dumb things just stand there waiting to get shot).
2) I don't have a big enough gun to take on down with only one shot (fired a whole box of 416Rigby ammo into the vitals and it was still standing).
3) When you finaly do get them to fall, your left with a hole in the ground and fire wood, but nothing to cook.

Nice views BAW, good luck in your house hunting.
