Interesting thread.

Since you had a few Americans on here,

I am 18th generation in the USA from the first English settlers in 1607 at Jamestowne Virginia.

The last ancestors came from Sweden and Norway about 1850.

IN between their was Irish, Scotch and German tossed into the Mix. Those all came before the Revolutionary War with the British.

So I am as American as one can Be without being an American Indian, Oh there was one of those also, Cherokee, female born in 1808.

My ancestorage was part of the Kicked out of Europe crowd long before Australia became the next available place to send them all.
