A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

I started growing mine in 1967 and haven't bothered to take it off since although it does get trimmed back from time to time.

Bakes, I'm down with Movember too, going with mustache and goatee. What is your team's name so I can slip you a few bucks?

Fuckim - a PTI - you're $14 ahead by that count now .....

I've done the good-hearted thing, Bakes, and my donation should be there.

BTW- as part of the armed forces, do you guys have disciplinary problems with crappy mustaches and beards?

Just saw the donation mate. Thankyou kindly. The RAAFSFS team is number one in Defence apparently. We've raised $5588 which is pretty good for a team of 31 members and we are ranked 54 nationally. My thanks to all who have donated.

I confronted the PTI yesterday and said that he must be shaking it down the club on Ladies night to get so much money, I'd give it a go too but the would throw rocks at me instead of money dancing

Bugger I'm still $34 behind, he must have got some good tips shoved down his G-String last night Big Grin

No, we can grow a Mo any time we want as long as it conforms to the dress standard (can't go below the corners of the mouth) Its only during Movember that the rules get relaxed but even then there are 5 styles we are allowed to grow, a full beard is one of them so I've gone down that path.

Navy can grow beards as a matter of course and the only position in the Army that can grow one is the Pioneer Sergeant. The rules have relaxed lately when on operations and the guys out in the field can grow beards. But I don't believe there are anymore disciplinary problems attributed to beards as such. A few European country's allow their armed forces to grow breads, I would love the ADF to do the same.

$8499 for the team Bill. We are the top team from Defence which is a good effort considering we have 37 people doing Movember. I shaved a few days ago, it was driving me mad Big Grin

My thanks to you for your donation mate.

Have to be 15 years since I shaved last. Dont plan on ever voluntarily shaving my beard / moostache ever again. I do keep it trimmed though...
