SGraves155Few NT croc picts
Here's a few more picts of the croc we trapped on a depredation permit in NT. Matt Kelman of Carmor Plains had the permit, the croc was eating cattle belonging to Danny White and family on Mt. Keppler station.

SGraves155He was 14'8". We saw at least a hundred crocs larger than 11 feet on a little over 1 mile of fishing on Sampan Creek.

yukon deltaI remember, not long ago, when there was an interesting proposal to help manage the salt croc population. Steve Irwin got involved and shut that one down. If I'm not mistaken, didn't some govt. hunters have to kill the crocs anyway? They should have let the sport hunters come in. I think there was a lot of money missed on that one. I doubt the salties are in any way endangered. It's not like something is higher on the food chain

Poachers? I'm sure there are some but sport hunting would assist the management in many ways.
