Heck, I'm from California USA, and I've heard of it. Even brought back a souvenir can of old dark that I purchased as part of a sixer I bought in your home town.

I really enjoyed the "Southern Man" Speights ads too ...

Im off fly fishing for a week down in Wanaka, will have my supply of Speights.

Some of us North Islanders drink it mate ! Dont like the dark one much though .And the tv ads are probably the best ad series we have had , next to Barry Crump and the Toyota series.
