Bakes.

I could tell how hot it was this morning by the colour of your face. I bet you were a sleep on the lounge ten minutes after you got home. I know I was.

You boys enjoy your "warm" weather. It is -2 F here with -44 F wind chill due to very high winds. Your nostrils freeze if you breathe through them!

Funny thing at midnight last night it was +30 F and by 4 am temps were down right bitter. I had to get up and shut my window.

I don't know the answer to that one. The first time I heard the term I had no idea what you blokes were talking about.

Anyway, I use it when writing here because I know you will know what I am talking about! My guess is I will have difficulty understanding Oz speak the day I fly over for a visit. I think it's the bloody accent.

A few cold beers, the universal language that slurs all accents and makes them sound the same!
