Aust Post and SSAA Update

Hello all

I've contacted my state association of SSAA and have been informed that there is a meeting this week between SSAA and Australia Post. I'll keep you informed if/when I get more information.

Apparently Australia Post has blinked on this issue. The person to contact is Graeme John who is the general manager of Australia Post. He can be contacted at ; 321 Exhibition St.

I hope the SSAA can get this lifted, I and a few mates have contacted the following

SSAA
ACCC
Commonwealth Ombudsmen
Local Federal MP
DFAT
US Embassy

I even contacted Brownells in the USA and told them what Australia Post was up to and they emailed me back and said they would contact their Congressman about this as they would lose a bit of business on this. I hope SSAA win the day.

I spoke to someone at SSAA who tells me they have been all over Australia Post like a fat kid and a cup cake. to use his description a middle level beauracrat had ambition greater than his ability.
