Lookout Tasmania...here I come
Heading off tomorrow for two weeks in Tassie with the bride. No hunting but I am taking a fishing rod. I'll check in from time to time. wave

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

the Pom
I bought a green rubber snake at Australia Zoo recently and took it to Tanzania a couple of weeks ago. I got up very early one morning and tucked it into the grass beside the path to the mess tent that the staff used. I sat and read a book until it started to get light and the two waiters turned up. They huddled together, whispering, clearly not wanting to alarm me then went off and returned with a tracker, armed with a stick. I approached and they excitedly waved me back. I ran forward, grabbed the snake behind the head and made the body writh around. Pandemonium, so I ran towards them, saying "It's OK, I've got him!" They were screaming so loud they woke the whole camp up. When the audience was big enough and worked up enough I pretended to bite it in the head to kill it, then threw it at the crowd. The tracker was staunch enough to whack it with his stick while the others fled. He looked more closely, then started laughing so much he cried.
Well worth the hassle of having my bag searched every time I went through airport security to examine the "snake".
