couple of Weatherby's
A couple of new Weatherby's for me. Top is a 458Lott in a HS Precision stock - had it converted from a win270 by Bob DeVries and bottom is a new 300Wby in a old Weatherby stock.

Is the 25-06 a better bet for long rang roos than the .257 Weatheyby?

The Howa deals at the moment with opur local dealer are too good to believerd,

A Howa (You know the model), mounts, 3 to 10 "Something" scope by Tasco, and a gun bag for $660-00.

Cannot do better, I think. And our dealer is very honest.

He has to be or he would be tarred and feathered in our little place.

The 257 is a bit more powerful, but there isnt enough difference to warrant paying that much for brass.
About that deal, you are getting a real good price on the rifle, but do yourself a favour and put a decent scope on it.
