What is your option on Rusa deer hunting in New Caledonia? Does a foreigner need a guide? I have been quoted prices for guided hunts from $2900-$4500. What should I expect to pay to fly from Sydney to New Caledonia ?

Best place for Javan Rusa in the world. All the land is private so I believe a guide is required.

new calidonia is a great place to hunt in fact to good shooting a rusa is like going to the supermarket and picking out what you want
the cost to fly fron sydney- new cal idonia is about 6-700 aust dollars return ...give or take a bit
just becareful who you book with...if you want more specific information drop me a line
a lot of the out fitters if they know you are an american will charge you in american dollars while if i book they will charge me in australian dollars ....anyway there are ways around this
