travelling to NZ thru Dubai

I have a friend travelling to New Zealand with his rifle and would like to know if there is a problem with a stopover of 10hrs in Dubai.

If he stays in the airport terminal as a transit passenger then he isnt actually "in" Dubai and his luggage should likewise not have entered the country. But I would check with his airline before I left home if it were me.....

In addition to Muzzies comment. If you have checked your luggage to the final destination, it is quite likely you won't even get access to your firearm.

As long as they are happy to have it there in the first place.

Check with your airline as well.

I think a close relative of AR's owner is the minister of Civil Aviation so he should know.
