JohnWKielyTop-Predator,
Don't think there is. When I was looking for brass (a few years back now) I settled for Norma. Easy to obtain and good quality. I do recall checking out another brand but not much price difference. Can you let me know if you find a source.

GadgeHornady should be cheaper than Norma, if you can find some. Try Rebel Gunworks in Brisbane, QLD.
Or Jamison is cheaper again, but still good quality. Dunno if anyone's bringing it into Oz though.
The other alternative is to contact Bruce Bertram direct, and ask about seconds.

Edit: Jamison brass is available by mail order from the US,
http://www.custombrassandbullets.comUSD 39.80 per 20. And they currently have a special on the export permit at USD50 [usually USD100]!
Due to the US bureaucracy, the permit will be slow, though. Think 5 weeks plus, after you get the required hard copies of the import permit to the supplier.

muzzaT-P I think you will get what you pay for in big-caliber brass. If it were me I would go for the best quality you can find, pay what it takes , and look after it as well as possible.
I have to add that Bertram brass isnt near the head of my list for quality , even though it may be readily available.

Bad Ass WallaceBig cals high prices; I paid $150/20 for some 577/450 and $120/20 577 Snider Bertram brass recently.
Compared with the old brass Betram seems to be holding tolerances a lot better these days. I recall a previous batch of 500 Nitro BB stuff that wouldn't even fit the chamber without shaving 3-4thou off the head.

That's still the case with a mate's Ruger No1 in 577NE and BB brass. But whether its the brass or the chamber cut by the Clymer reamer ... who knows?

HendrikNZ470NE Norma brass is available in New Zealand for NZ$456 for 50. How does that compare to prices across the ditch?
Cheers

500NYou get what you pay for with Brass. If you worry about the price of brass, you shouldn't have bought a 470 !!!
Buy cheap Brass, get a case separation and you'll wipe more than a few $$$ off the price of the gun.
If you have a good gun (chambers), look after the brass and can neck size only, you'll get over 10 shots per case. Think in these terms.

Norma 470 cases are good and they use to be quite a bit cheaper in price than the price you have.
