Bill/OregonGood luck on your hung Parliament, fellas. Assume you would rather have the Conservatives in charge?
There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t.

duffy4I have heard a number of Aussies say that many of the MP's should be hung.
Now they have their wish and the whole lot is hung.
In Canada we had our first female Prim minister, who took over between elections when the ruling party had a leadership review and vote.
She called an election to "Get a mandate from the people"
No one has seen her since.

KarlWho's in charge?
Corporations and Global groups of course.
Watching public servants on less money than the average chinese laundromat owner fight each other, is just a Punch and Judy show for the masses.
Has anyone seen anything to suggest either party has deviated much from 'standard globalisation policy' in the last 20 years?

458LottfanVery well said Karl. The exact problem we have in the US. A huge lot of crooks is all they are.

Idaho SharpshooterMy favorite politician quote of all time:
Shakespeare's "Merchants of Venice". Dick the Butcher, discussing their plan for overthrowing the existing government; "first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers...".

duffy4Whose in charge of determining whose in charge?
I know the governor general (a woman) has the power to approve a parliament and she is the representative of the queen (a woman). If it goes to Julia (a woman) then Australia will be the largest "hen pecked" country in the world.

Matt GrahamJulia is a woman???
