A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

dontomHi Bakes,
In NZ, you can usually get them at fishing stores, used for berley. Not sure if they would come with sausage making accesories though!
Cheers,
TOM

muzzaThe problem with second-hand store ones here is some prick has always pinched either the wingnut or the mincer blade and you only get part of the setup .

Hog KillerBakes,
Here is one I put together. It has a 3/4hp motor, mounted onto a two wheel dolly. The nice thing about it , it is a fast way to grind lots of meat. Being built on to the dolly, it is easy to move about. The grinder is a #32, with a 14" pulley on the drive shaft and a 2" pulley on the motor.(1750rpm)

Hi Bakes, I bought one a few months ago from Myers in Sydney. Made in Czeck, or Poland, somewhere like that. It's bloody good, but cost me about $80 - worth every cent. I'm out of town at the moment, return to Sydney this Sunday arvo - I'll check the brand and other details and let you know.
If you don't hear from me by Monday nite, slip me an email to remind me...

GadgeBakes,
Here are a couple of online shops that have them, at least the smaller [up to 70mm plate diam] types:
link 1link 2 This link edited so it now works! This mob list the sausage stuffing tubes too.
Don't suppose you'd have any Italian grocers up that way - they always seem to have these.

BakesGadge
Thanks for the links. Just what I'm after. I had a friend give me her dehydrator and I've done a batch of venison and buff jerky, now when I get a mincer....

geekayNow that is something I want to see, Bakes mincing buff with his new car. A new Tour Bus or Road Train, they do a reasonable job of mincing buff or roo emu or bustard as I recall but a new car?

BakesWe had a road train hit a buff out side the base a few years ago. The buff was very dead and intact. The truck however was a right off

Big things those buff.
I was talking to my mate Pete across the road. Pete's a former butcher before he joined the RAAF and he's bidding on a mincer on Ebay, he also owns the 40 odd kilo of buff meat I have in my freezer

Mmmmmmmm buff sausages, Buff burgers......
