I was once bitten by one of those bastards. Luckily I was quick enough and surprised him as much as he surprised me! He had no time to Enject venom but I did have a piece of his fang in my finger for some time. Close call

Bakes
Sneaky bastards those things.

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

Thank You for the reminder Bill!

OUCH Oz Hunter, your a lucky fella!

The last time I seen one of these spiders, it got the back of a Shovel...SPAT!

Bug-sects like Funnel Webs etc, is one of the reasons I got one of those zip up type dome swags. Luckily, I have only had to deal with a couple of Huntsman spiders, that some how still managed to get in over the years since!
Knowing my mates, they were probably responsible for these?

Doh!

Bill/Oregon, Australia not only has the most poisonous Snakes and Spider on the planet, we also have the most poisonous Fish;
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synanceia
and the most poisonous creature on the Planet, the Box Jelly Fish;
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Box_jellyfish

With all these dangerous critters (plus the infamous and horrendously dangerous "Drop Bear"), its a wonder any of us, ever survive a trip to the beach or our back yard!

Lucky boy, yes, but not quite as lucky as those of us who have not been bitten. Smiler

The trouble with our dangerous critters, Homer, is they are mostly too small to point a rifle at or lack horns to hang on the wall. They tend to be found on the end of your finger or under your foot, not couchant 30 yards away, waving their tails.

So True Sambarman, and if only!
