Super report, Wendell! And the trophies ain't too shabby either.

I don't know about you, but my NZ hunt was one of the best I've been on and probably enjoyed it more overall than my trip to RSA in June 2003. Me thinks the "ambience" of NZ over RSA had a lot to do with it. -TONY

Thanks Tony.

I don't know, I have a Cape Buffalo addiction that would prevent me from ranking New Zealand over Africa. But it sure was a fun hunt. Good quality animals, great outfitter, good areas, good equipment (helicopter, airplane, vehicles, lodges, etc.) Great weather , ... well, except for the rain!

I did enjoy the heck out of it. It will remain a very fond memory. One of the best hunts I have done.

Wendell,

Great report, and great hunt. Congratulations. I am planning a hunt in NZ for next year for Tahr and Chamois. Can you email the info for the folks you hunted with (any other info would be appreciated). Is there a time of year when the weather might be better?
