eagle27You Aussies might be good at rugby league (we won't mention union) but your internet must be crap, no problem viewing here

Great videos with some mighty buffalo, definitely rank up there with the African, now that'll start an argument

505GAm surprised you could raise your hear above the sofa after that performance !
The Union team will now follow the league team !

505GLuckily they are.
Didn't you know, two types of drought exist in Australia.
A weather drought
A Rugby Union drought that started when we last beat the All Blacks.
You can guess which one breaks first

Matt GrahamAnother win to the Wallabies - the Welsh at home... we have to start somewhere I guess...
Gryphon - I mean the name of the outfitter. The person behind it.
01 December 2013, 12:02
Matt GrahamScott Haugens website says the outfitter is Peter Edser
http://www.scotthaugen.com/australia-adventures/Interesting Scott rates the scrub bull as Australia's most dangerous game. I would think a banteng is probably a bit more likely to jump you... opinions vary!!
01 December 2013, 12:22
505GWell Matt, you have probably hunted more of all 3 than most (Buff, Scrubber and Banteng) so you probably have a better idea than a lot of people.

Meh... I am just interested in peoples observations. Not sure if Scott has hunted banteng or not?
Still havent worked out how to view that damn Vimeo thing...

505GIf I can't watch something, like on Vimeo,
I normally go and look on youtube.
Most times I find it on there as well.

not outback hunting that's down town behavior
sorry

Some older versions of Explorer use flash player to decode imbedded Vimeo videos. Vimeo is very high grade viewing supports full screen without loss of quality so worthwhile getting your internet programme to work with it.
Mine (Firefox) allows Vimeo videos to start and run perfectly.
02 December 2013, 16:32
Matt GrahamI am on Firefox. If I click the link above I get audio but no video.

What a disgrace...
That PNG buffalo hunt was the one where the second hunter was badly gored and airlifted out. Mate of mine was the cameraman.
Jason Bruce is clueless...

Maybe? The whole thing was bizarre.
05 December 2013, 04:56
DoglegThat reminds me why I don't watch hunting shows.1/2 hour of annoying commercials and 10 minutes of annoying host.
On the other hand it is another location to pursue buffalo in. That idea is at least a little interesting.
05 December 2013, 05:08
Matt GrahamYeah it is interesting alright. Shockey was there this year and he said it was really cool. Killed a buff and a rusa deer I think.

stradlingDogleg
here is the point for me
can I do the control one shot on the sticks
shoot this one-- not that one-- shoot-- don't shoot --shoot again-- stop shooting
bull shit in Africa ya for a while
why because it is the only place with elephants
that why
but after a planes game hunt or two an elephant hunt
un shot bullets --over tipped ph's with there hand out now for your $2,500 binoculars
it loses most of the charm
easy to get converted to an Australian cull hunt as a next better hunt that you can repeat next year with enthusiasm and a good taste in your mouth
thing is if you go out back and some outfiter pulls that sudo african ph shit like in the vidio above
the hunting in Australia will not sell
there are only so many fools and green guys willing to pay as much as it costs to cull at this level
so the Australia over Africa hunters that will buy in to the out back good times like that cull hunt ain't going to put up with that micro management
I took a trigicon over there and put it to work
what a pissy prissy commercial IMHO
the African business model is a Australian outfitters best marketing tool
not every one down under is smart enough to see that SOME THINK THEY NEED TO BE LIKE AN AFRICAN
as a very satisfied customer I will just say
Barry having been on both sided of the good and the bad hunting in Africa gets it
that is the way he ran my hunt
am I going back
well yes
don't want to quit hunting just yet
and not quite ready to jump back in to the
control freak ish
over-priced under preforming African
re peat and rewash cycle
hear good words about Matt as well have not yet hunted with him
Anyway it matters not, because my experience always has been that of---- a loss of snot and enamel on both sides of the 458 Win----
05 December 2013, 20:43
DoglegHey, you don't have to convince me. I'm booked for the fourth year in a row with 2 seven day culls booked back to back this year. One with Matt and one with Barry.
06 December 2013, 02:20
stradlingsent you a pm dogleg
need a copper recipe
Anyway it matters not, because my experience always has been that of---- a loss of snot and enamel on both sides of the 458 Win----
06 December 2013, 03:24
Matt GrahamGod bless both of you!!!

06 December 2013, 04:21
DoglegGod don't want me, and hell's scared I'll take over the joint. That just leaves Australia.

06 December 2013, 21:05
stradlingwell now that happened down there once before
think it was 1780 ish
when the new USA stop ed taking the English criminals
and London started dumping them in botany bay to swim ashore
you Canadians were dumped ashore years before when the Scots decided to run sheep
my relatives in Arizona still hate sheep almost as bad as we hate the sheep M-hurders
Anyway it matters not, because my experience always has been that of---- a loss of snot and enamel on both sides of the 458 Win----

stradlingAccentuate the positive
Accentuate the point
Accentuate the progress
Leave the punctuation to the English
May they punctuate that departure from our dear land?
Freedom is not free
You just may lose a little English in the process
And lose a bit more that is proper, than just that lovely English
receiving only wealth FOR THE COMMON MAN in return
CRUDE
YES IT IS
I GIVE YOU THAT

stradlingboys the word your are looking for is resonate if you want a poem get your self a pink dress
do you two buy 15-30 k hunts in Africa
will you ever if so 3-5 20 k hunts for each of you should get ya both fixed up [tuned up ] good for a sympathetic resonation
up to that point your string may be just a bit to short and soft to-- to pick up on the signal
a ha he [[bait]]
the man with no pants here is not an emperor
lots of people on this form have paid that much or more money we all kind of know
you two wet ducks just may give me a chance to air this out
