muzzaNZ Kindergarten Issues "Gun Licences" To Kid
http://www.stuff.co.nz/taranak...-issues-gun-licencesThis is a local kindergartens way of dealing with their kids playing games with guns - as kids all love to do. I take my hat off to the kindy - what a brilliant way of educating those kids and having fun at the same time .
Unfortunately there is some looney fringe-dwelling ladies who seem to have trouble with the concept , but when you read their comments on th Daily News' Face Book page its pretty obvious that reading the article , or having two brain cells to rub together is beyond some of them. The on-line poll is interesting if you can access it too - 65% of respondents thought it was a great idea to teach little kids some sensible gun safety rules .
Aint that amazing?

sambarman338Yes, it is a great idea. My father taught me to shoot when I was seven, on my mother's insistence because she knew of too many uninstructed kids having accidents with guns. She never explained what she knew about this to me but years later an old townie told me that as kids he and his mates had got pea-rifles and played some game half way between a rock fight and a western movie siege.
