Welcome to the world of debt and lost hunting trips because the house needs work.

I have owned a dozen different homes and I am looking forward to the day when I sell my last one and rent - -- so I can hunt more.

Bakes,
As a friend who recently bought a block, then built on it sai
"Idiots build new homes.Clever people buy homes from idiots once they are complete!"
Enjoy! At least you won't be pulling your hair out.
And don't worry, because once it's finished your wife will start a new list of things for you to do.

Yes I've heard it said you'll only build one home...

No problems with the builder so far just the bloody bank gave us the run around.

Keep us posted with progress photos, we can help you make all the changes and provide useless advice. If you are still happily married at the end of the process, it will be a good house. How big is the gun room going to be?

Funny you should mention "trophy Room" Ron. I'm building a 15x6 meter shed and was going to build a mans nook in it. BUT we had to change plans a bit so the shed idea is out. Luckly the house has a dinning room that we will never use as a dinning room (don't think the queen will ever visit). Now however it will be the trophy/bar room. Measurements are 3.96x3.51 ish meters.

Thought you would have had the range up by now, but I'm not seeing targets set up anywhere, or did I miss them?

Lay the pad for the shed, and while your there you'll need a pad for the dog run..... (you can always put them up later) Big Grin

Happy hunting

House was dilivered today. At the moment its a pile of wood and steel on the ground. Took the day off work and thought I would only be there watching. Ended up unloading the bloody thing!

More pictures please. Don't give up on the "Man Room". Just put it off for a little while.
