Rusa in South East QLD

A work mate of mine had some time off and went up to his brothers property. They shot a few pigs to 80kg and a stag and small doe for meat. He didn't know what species it was but he showed me a photo he took with his phone of the stags(yep two of them in the photo)and bugger me if they wern't big rusa stags.

I think the rusa range has spread to most of South Queensland now Bakes. Shame your State Government views them a s vermin to be destroyed at all cost - which will never happen .....
