Re: Aussie barrel makers
I think some of the benchrest guys are using Maddco's not to be confused with Mab. Unsure which barrel Peter used to set his fly record will check. 5 shots under 1" at 500m in fact 4 of the shots measure less than .4".

Only Aussie makers I know of are
Maddco
Mab
Sprinter
Lisner (pistol only and unsure if still in business)

Thanks guys,
Anyone have a contact number for Maddco? Robert Tobler's name has come up before, I assume both Maddco and Tobler make 8mm barrels?
Thanks...

Peter used a MAB to shoot that group, BUT the replacement barrel will be a Maddco. Maddco's kick a$$. They are the equal of any barrel in the world, but are not appreciated by most shooters here.

In case you are wondering, I would recommend a Maddco barrel.
