topenders, any one herd about the pig and pussy shoot?

i just saw it advertised in the nt news i think its around the pine creek area? and starts next weekend.
sounds like it mite be fun love to bump into a cat with the 308 handy!!!

I shot a pussy. Cat that is, with my 22-250 AI the other day. A 40gr balistic tip at 4150. It pretty much completely disjointed him.

Bakes

Trouble is , the guy who runs it will give you a map of hunting area's, but the owners of the land don't know anything about it. You may end up trespassing. Happended to a mate of mine. He got a map, rang the owners (just in case) and they knew nothing about it.

It's me that Bakes is referring to, I got a pastoral map to find out where this guy was sending me and rang the station up to check that the property was open to shooters going in the competition, he was surprised but pleased that I rang before I went shooting, still didn't let me though!

The shoot is about as feral as you can get, about the only thing missing is a three fingered banjo player.
