Bad Ass WallaceBAW Bullet Casting workshop
Owing to repeated requests, the second and final for 2007 casting for newbies, Sat/Sun 15/16th September has been set aside to conduct a "beginners bullet casting" class. Plenty of room for camping, conversation & culinary experimentation. Clay thrower & small range available on site!
This time we shall be concentrating on suitable alloys and bullets for 7mm, 308, 303, & 8mm. BBQ & Bullshite session Saturday night.
Sat 15th - 1-6pm Casting basics, tips & tricks etc.
Sun 16th - 8am - make your own, (moulds, alloy & furnace provided)
Loading & bench testing avialable at the private range on site!

BakesThats sounds like a good day! I have no bullet moulds but I'd go just to cast some sinkers

. Which reminds me, I am running out of them.....

Bad Ass WallaceWhile the casting was going well a runner arrived with word that the Zulu Army led by Cetshwayo were on the move,they would arrive within the hour.
This warning gave our brave troops time to prepare defences.Sgt Wallace and L/Cpl Chrispy on guard at Fort Wallace!
The Zulu attacked in a typicial "Horns of the Beast" formation.
There was Zulu to the left ...
...and Zulu to the right...
Cetshwayo was unable to mount a counter-offensive and after several hours of heavy fighting, were driven off.
Our brave troops fighting off those Zulu blighters at Wallace Redoubt.
Oh! and during the weekend we got some bullets casted as well

Easy_RollinsPvt Rollins was awarded the Victoria Cross for saving the colours and premoted to Lance Sergent.

Sgt wallace and L/Cpl Chrispy were later found drunk in a brothel,and demoted.
