How do you properly focus this fine instrument?

Just can't seem to get it perfect.

If you are referring to focus, as opposed to paralax, I usually hang a white sheet about 50 ft. in front of the bench and adjust the ocular lense to bring the crosshairs and, or, dot into sharp focus. If you are talking paralax, never rely on the scale on the front. Rarely do they coincide with actual range.

As I understand Confused, you should focus on the object with your unaided eye and then quickly look thru the scope - adjust until the x-hairs are in focus immediately.
