Win. Brass
Rem. 7 1/2 Primer
75 gr. Hornaday AMax
25.1 gr of VithaVouri N540

I shoot this load in a 223 Rem. bolt gun with a 1 in 9 twist Douglas XX premium air guage barrel finished at 24". Veloicty runs 2930 fps avg. Accuracy is in high .3's to the low .5's everyday. That load is supersonic to 1K. With that load I give up very little if anything to a 308 on paper out to 1K in F Class competition. That load has shot in three of my friends rifles as well. My next choice of powders is H 4895 with RL 15 a distant third.

Hope this helps some

Cold Bore
24.5 grains of Varget works well for me.

i shoot hornady 55gr sp, with 25gr IMR 4895 in my remington 700 and consitantly get groups at .3" @ 100yds or better all day long

the best i've ever got was .5" with the most expensive ammo, now i can shoot the screws off my target @ 100yds

i like to target shoot alot and i have a big ass back yard with lots of birds and i'll sit on my table and shoot small to medium sized birds mgun at 150yds - 200yds off a bipod
