What do the Tubb rifles go for?
Just curious, as I saw a write-up somewhere on this rifle in Hornady's new 6.5 Creedmoor ...

Last price I saw for a new one from McBros was $4500 with about a year wait. Used they aren't much cheaper.

Pointblank: Thanks. I was afraid of that ...

There are other options. Gary Eliseo makes a tube stock similar to the Tubb for around $800, it's a very nice set-up. Add a 700 action and barrel and your on your way. I put one together not too long ago for a highpower shooter that really likes it. All together the guy has less than 2K in it, excluding the sights. The only thing is that it's only set up to use the 6BR case, or derivatives of it. A 6.5 Dasher or BRX would be a pretty good choice if you want to stick with the 6.5's.
