During exhaustive searching for any and all information on a takedown or switch barrel rifle I came across this company; also goes by Black Diamond Rifles. It looks like the smith turns out some quality products. Has anyone had any dealings with the company or shot the rifles?
Thanks!

UltraMagDave is good people I would not for one second hesitate to get anything from him. He is an excellent smith and I was thinking about getting a takedown in the future as well.
If you want more info about his guns go to longrangehunting.com
Goodluck!

Gentlemen, I went to the web site and did not see anything about them making takedown rifles. What did I miss?
Thanks, Peter.

hnts4funPeter,
It takes some looking on their site but try this link:

I'm not quite sure how to post photos yet but I did put together a collection of pictures of Dave Viers' backpack .308. It's a beautiful ultralight rifle but he'll build anything you want. He just delivered a couple of long-range rifles to Wyoming that were turning in 4 inch groups at 1000 yards.
I managed to get a hold of a takedown rifle last week after over three months and over 250 e-mails coast-to-coast. As I get some shooting time under my belt I will start a thread on the rifle.
I would be interested in knowing more about your takedown. Caliber, weight accuracy and COST! I have been considering an HS Precision. Been looking for a while. The Sauer 202's are out of sight now price wise.
Peter.
