londonhunterISSF 300m
Firstly hi to everybody here
I am about to start 300m ISSF dicipline
bought an old rifle from an ex GB team
it is 6mmBR on a Keppeler action
The previous owner shoots exclusively black diamond Norma factory ammo which is moly coated
Now I have checked the rules
Is there any advantage trying 107 grain with a slighty higher BC in the wind - though how much to 300 is debatable
I plan to reload and as most of you know the match is sighters plus 60 in prone. I do not wish to compete in 3P.
Thanks
ROund count on this oldie is 3800 so I guess after this winter a rebarrelling is in order.
Should I ask the gumsmith to throat it for anything special to give me an edge ?
LH where are you going to shoot? When I lived there, Bisley was just about the only game in town, but if restricted to 300 meters I would think that more places would be available.
Peter.

londonhunterBisley is the only game in town
LH,
Local fellow is very experienced with round you mention and we use the same 'smith for barrel/chamber work and will speak with him about just what he has done to his chambers, etc. I will PM you with the details.
LH keep us posted on your experiences. Where will folks be shooting next year in the Olympics? Any new facilities being built for shooting?
Peter.
