Very proud dad
My son recently graduated from ENJJPT at Sheppard AFB. Got his wings on 12/22. First assignment F16 Viper.
Dream come true for him. He worked very hard for this. 2009 graduate of the USAF Academy. Very, very proud of his accomplishments.

Congratulations to both you and your son! I had to look up ENJJPT and found this European/NATO pilot training

I remember my fight training days (and subsequent squadrons) as a Disney World where you got paid to do stuff of which others only dreamed. Those were some of the best days of my life and got to spend time with the finest folks on this earth, fighter pilots.

I, too, was blessed to be able to fly single engine, single-seat, too. Kick the tire and light the fire. Always a thrill!

JudgeG ... just counting time 'til I am again finding balm in Gilead chilled out somewhere in the Selous.

Thanks Guys

To top it off - we just got back from his wedding at the Air Force Academy chapel. What a special place. Words cannot describe. And I have a new daughter - in law. What a ride.

One of these day - when his schedule allows - we are going on mule deer/antelope hunt.
