Either that or a very catastrophic uncontained engine failure? Maybe a vehicle on the runway we can't see? WTF is right..

BobsterI've viewed it a number of times and in stop action. Whatever it was seemed to come from the bright light off the left wing at the moment of the explosion. Maybe an air stair or other equipment too close to the runway? Sure looked like it struck something with enough force to spin the plane around or was hit by an explosion powerful enough to do the same.

A7DaveOr, the spinning was caused by zero thrust on the left side and full power on the (as yet) undamaged side.
