jetdrvrShuttle approach and landing from the cockpit..
This video starts at FL 830, (83,000 ft, approximately), at Mach 2.5 and 1.1 G. You'll be looking thorugh the HUD and you'll hear the crew interaction. Notice it is a circular approach. Also the approach angle is very steep. The pilot rolls it on. Not even a wiggle. These folks are good.

jetdrvrSorry, guys. Looks like they closed the site. Several guys I emailed it to got the same response, but several got in. I guess they got so many hits they closed it. Now, I can't get in from the original email, either.

JALNever mind, I landed the shuttle a few times on a computer game. . . Mostly crashes though.
