I thank Jim Brooks, amny others in the air and on the ground for what I have and enjoy today.

Several years ago, I was talking to a WWII Vet at the Memphis Belle exhibit. he himself was a volunteer at the exhibit and a B-17 tailgunner . . .

He told me that he was most disappointed when he talked to young people and they had NO IDEA what WWII was.

Kids today are as enthusiastic and smart as ever. The teachers, schools and text book writers are not.

The dumbing down of American successfully continues...find an 18 year-old who can name two states that border on Ohio, unless he lives there or in one of the adjacent states. Good luck...
